While in our Thalassotherapy Pool at this leading hotel in Donegal, the high concentration of mineral salts in the sea water reduces body weight to 10% of its value on dry land. Therefore a person weighing 80kg will only weigh 8kg in the Thalassotherapy Pool. As a result general mobilization and movement of specific joints for rehabilitation becomes 10 times easier than normal. With the increased range of movement, circulation can be increased and pain reduced.

Designed for a therapeutic purpose but equally valuable for fitness purposes, the Thalassotherapy Pool is equipped with specific jets, neck showers, massage seats, waterfall, underwater massage jets, geysers, air spas and micro-bubble seats. The depth of the pool at this Donegal hotel is 4ft 5ins and a series of railings allow its use for non-swimmers.
