We have now stayed at the Redcastle 5 or 6 times and have loved it every time. We have also recommended it to many friends and family who have enjoyed their stays too.

This time we upgraded to a suite for my wife's birthday. It had a lovely view and was very spacious. the bathroom was lovely too but i was disappointed that there were some of the floor tiles were all cracked. Plaster-work around the card slot in the room for the power to work was also shoddy, with a significant gap appearing at the top. Bed was massive, but too firm for me - i suppose that's a matter of taste.
Pool is great, with many jacuzzi type points, but showers in mens changing were poor - little if any jet from shower if more than one shower was on at any one time.
Golf course is really good too for a casual game, with some lovely views. We always go for a walk around the perimeter and it is lovely too.
Bar food good and reasonably priced. Also have Sky TV so you can enjoy the footy or music in the background. Nice seating areas and many 'nooks and crannies' to relax in if you want a bit more privacy.
Have only ever had the breakfast in the restaurant. service always good, but this was the first time i've been slightly disappointed in the food - irish breakfast a bit disappointing and no yoghurts available like our previous stays. Again, lovely views from restaurant, and adjoining outdoor large 'balcony'/terrace.
There are a few wee gripes in here but not enough to ruin our stay at all. Always really enjoy it, and this time was no different.
